Mothers Day Craft

Want to make a lovely Mother’s Day craft for someone you love? I made these easy paper flowers, calla lilies, and Mother’s Day subway art and gift cards for my mom.

And the best part about the gift tags and 8×10 Mother’s Day mat, you can personalize the file to any name. In my family we have Mom, Mimi, Grandma and Nanny! So with this free printable download you can pop in any “mom” name you choose!

Mothers Day Craft Supplies

You’ll need just a few supplies to make the paper calla lilies:

  • Crepe paper (orange, lime green and light pink)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Tape
  • Scissors

And here are the simple steps for making paper flower calla lilies:

  • Stem – Tape the green crepe paper to one end of a lollipop stick and twist ending with another piece of tape.

  • Flower – Cut a 3″ piece of pink or orange crepe and trim one end into a 90-degree angle. Now fold it into a circle, making sure one side, the angled side, sticks up to give it the calla lily point.
  • Attach flower to stem – Simply place a piece of tape on the stem about an inch down, insert into open circle and press. Now the stem is also visible as the stamen!

Display in a lovely vase, maybe with candies like I did since no water is required! I don’t know about your mom, but mine likes to keep just about everything that we give her so I can see these getting placed in her “happy box” of memories. Or, at least they better! {grin}

  1. Super adorable!! LOVE how easy it is too, and as a mom, I’d love to get a bouquet and card like this on Mother’s day! :)

  2. How do you personalize it? I don’t see a button or option to do that on the download page.
    Thanks,
    Kelly
